Rush & Deja-Vu!

The Wedding of Efeida & Max

Woke up with the kind of excitment and rush that's drives me as a photographer, knowing that today i will be shooting a wedding in a National Landmark, the Putrajaya Mosque. I arrived at the location 2 hours early. Recced. Had a nice breakfast by the scenic Putrajaya LAKE and still with time to spare.

In the evening, as i was driving to the venue, a sense of Deja-vu overwhelmed me. As i thought, that right I was here earlier this year to capture the wedding of Efeida's younger sister Elyna. However, when I arrived I was totelly mesmerised by the transformation of the Effendi's Residence. How can two weddings in the same venue & same people can be so Gorgeously different?

Give them cake!

The cake was captured at the of Wedding of Elyna Effendi & Casmad Sanuri In February 04.

The traditional Malay wedding ceremony and reception was gorgeous with influence from Indonesian and Sarawak culture

Beautiful Keris placed behind the Groom

excitement all round during the nasi temuan ceremony. Both bride and groom race to feed each other. The believe is that the one who feeds the other half first, will have the final say in the marriage!

BTW, trust me the bride and groom were even more delicious than the cake!

Ooo izzit. I thot u were using Canon. For film i still using EOS now is not that cost effective using it. But i still using a stupid SB-22s which is cannot be rotated. But I plan to buy SB-600 but still looking at SB-800. U have any idea of the apparent differences between it 2? Thnks Thu 9-Sep-2004 04:49

This PROFESSIONALLY drawn image by a six year old cousin of the beautiful and sporting couple-Carmen & Voon who resides in Hong Kong. Their wedding cannot be more romantic as it falls on the Valentine's of 2004:)

The wedding was simply beautiful! It was planned and executed by Pauline & Shen Yi of I Do Weddings http://www.ido.com.my with flower decorations by Shanon, Val & Sam of As You Like It Flowers http://www.asyoulikeitflowers.com.
