The day began VERY, VERY, VERY early. The crews were to assemble for the ERL to KLIA at KL Sentral, 5a.m sharp.We were to catch a Now Everyone Can Fly Airline's flight to Alor Setar. We were under the invitation of Pak Faizan, the proprietor of the famous HAFA Caterers to document the wedding of his loverly daughter Linda, to the gentlemanly Yusrie.
The flight was good and our groggyness was pleasently welcome by the tranquilty and scenic drive from Alor Setar to Kangar.The highway was amazing and cheap. However, horrors of all horror! As we open our luggage that has been check it, we realized one of our videocamera has been damaged! The airport/airline staff has probably thrown around our "FRAGILE" baggage in the cargo. Fortunately, we always travel with a back-up camera.
The Akad Nikah was held on the first day and followed by a GRAND Dinner Reception for 400 close friend and relatives in the evening. The set-up was simply stunning. Some guest was overheard saying, it probably put many 5 star hotel to shame.The young but efficient waiters was very impressive and helpful too.
* DEFINITION-Akad Nikah is the solemnization of the Malay wedding.
Btw, since now that Everyone Can Fly- can the good people at the airline makesure Everyone Can Turn Off Their Phone during the flight?
